The Events Committee of All Saints was formed to organise events specifically to raise funds for the running costs of the church but also contribute to the social life and character of the village.
A programme of activities is mounted in the village, some every year, some at other intervals.
The Church Fete, now run as part of ‘Shillington Fest’ is enjoyed by everyone each year. Stalls, competitions, music, food, plants, all contribute to a typical village Saturday afternoon’s fun!
Strawberry Teas at the Church in July – time to meet up for a chat and the children to play.
Quiz Night, again every year tests the memory, knowledge, ingenuity and sense of humour of those who come and enjoy either the questions, the supper or perhaps even both!
The Christmas Fayre held in the Church, is always a popular event and brings people from miles around for Games, Cakes, Plants and Company with Mulled Wine and refreshments.
Other events include the Scarecrow Weekend every few years, Music on the Lawn, the Harvest Lunch and Auction and many more.
The Events Committee are always interested in finding new members, new ideas and additional help in organising the activities and making their contribution to the running of All Saints.
If you are interested in supporting the committee please do get in touch with us via the Contact page.
